  1. Thank you for your kind words. If you need any help you can msg me anytime. Hope that you feel confident about whatever you choose to do Mohd.!!!
  2. Do you have a job over there or are you still looking for one....if yes where would you wanna work and furthermore where would you advice future grads to apply to?
  3. elkpark could you elaborate on that for me.....I am interested in knowing how the new graduates illegitimately qualify for a H1B1 visa....and how is the Government cracking down on the misuse of H1Bs
  4. Mohd. Ali, I think your cousin was only looking out for you because the economy was pretty bad but now lately...countries like Japan and Germany's economy is getting better so I think the US economy can recover too....so dont give up hope if you are interested in continuing with your Masters go ahead..but if you want to go ahead with Nursing then do that....the thing is that you can work for a year after you graduate then you can get enrolled in a college that offers BSN and most hospitals are willing to pay for the education.....so the next thing u really have to do try to think what you want to do and dont really have to worry about the work permit, economy or the Visa.....As they say **** happens countries will always have problems.....no matter wat....!!! So on a lighter note....I was only saying that so that you would not take Nursing lightly....and God forbid if you by any chance fail a semester...I dont want you to loose your faith!!!
  5. Hey Jim, I dont think I can help you get a job because I myself am a student in my last semester. As far as the course is concerned....it cannot be compared with the standard of India, here they require your total dedication to the program...I had to repeat one of semester before I became serious!!! The course is hard.....once you get all your prerequisites taken care off then you have to be excepted......And once you start it try to read all the chapter that were assigned for that day in advance!!!! But if you want any other help I will do my best!
  6. What do u need help with Seth?
  7. Thank you for your reply. What will be the best place for me to work at this moment. I am currently residing in KY and need to know if I should move out of here and find a job somewhere else or do I stick around over here...I have no ties over here until I graduate.....so that I can plan where to write my Nclex.........
  8. I am an international student from India and will be graduating in Dec. '09 from a community college with an ADN. I know about the scarcity of nursing jobs available but I am optimistic about it. Anyways I need to know how to find a Govt. hospital or any hospital that will be willing to sponsor me? I need to plan out my future and I need help from anyone. Furthermore, I have not yet decided which area in Nursing I should work. One of my friends who is a nurse for 7 years told me that it would be a good idea to work in the Neurological department in the ICU and then after a year go into an Acute care setting. According to her it will be a good way to get enough experience to be accepted in any hospital. I need your help.
