  1. The online courses are set up with weeekly discussion boards. The assignments are usually due by midnight on Sunday. The class is taught by one instructor, using printed lecture format, power point, and links to other sites. The instructor also post additional comments and suggestions as the class progresses. There is an online tutoring component on the student website, but I have not used it. The amount of time needed for each assignment is variable, it depends on the assignment.
  2. Hi Probably, I have been taking 1 class at a time for the last year! It is very doable for me that way. I know some class mates are taking 3-4 classes and I don't know how they keep up. Good luck on your classes.
  3. That is exactly what I am doing, just take one class at at time. Slow and steady wins the race. We will get there.
  4. Hi beetlebum, I am also in the UOW program, taking 1-2 classes a semester. It is great to hear from people that have graduated! I am taking the Cultural Diversity class this summer, and for some reason it's a struggle. Any tips to get thru it? I plan on 3630 Health Promotion and hopefully Statistics in the fall. 5 more Nursing classes to go.
  5. 2boys1nurse, I have had to take history, art, college algebra, statistics, and a public speaking class in addition to the BSN classes. I have been taking 1-2 classes a semester and it has been alot of work for me working part time! The semester last 15 weeks, the summer session is 12 weeks.
  6. ShanniY, I have been taking classes to finish my BSN with University of Wyoming for the last year. Online classes are 104.00 per credit plus 40 per credit for the online fee.

  9. Giqe, are you trying to work on finishing the algebra requirements for the UWY BSN program? I havent had math since I graduated from high school. I will probably have to take pre algebra and then algebra!
  10. Triple the cost! I think I am going to look at Fort Hayes, at least I am not too far into the program that I cant't jump ship.
  11. Is anyone else taking pharmacology this semester. How in the world do you keep the notes in order?
  12. Cailian, Good Luck with writing the papers. I have a great fear of writing papers, so I feel for you.You will pass! I plan to take the Pols 1000 class in the spring along with Nurs 3020. I still need to knock out an alegbra and statistic class for the required courses, so slowly I trudge on....
