Hi everyone, I need to interview an RN for one of my classes and since I dont know any RN's I was wondering if someone who is an RN can help me out. My questions are... How many years have you been a registered nurse? What field are you practicing in? Do you enjoy it? What kind of education did you get? (two year or four year program?) What was most helpful in developing specific skills? Did you ever have a reality shock? Meaning did you think nursing was going one thing but then it turned out to be something else? If so, how do you deal with it? What do you like about being a nurse? What are your dislikes? Do you think you made the right choice when you became a nurse? and finally is there anything you would like to say to anyone who is thinking about becoming a nurse? I would really appreciate the help. If there's anything else you would like to add on please feel free to express yourself.
