  1. I don't think you're understanding. I have to move back to IN, i have to switch my medicaid for my pregnancy to switch, i cannot find any private pay insurance to pay for my pregnancy at 6 mos, so that means i must switch my residency. i don't really have much choice in taking my boards in IN. you cannot sit for boards in TN with a residency of IN. they will not allow you. as for where i graduated, i graduated in louisville, KY. not in TN. which louisville is right on the line for indiana. for taking my boards in TN, graduating out of state. i sent my application, i paid for NCLEX, 1 1/2 months later i was approved. it took my school forever to work with me because they only deal with indiana and kentucky boards and rarely deal with our states, so they weren't sure how to deal with it, so i had to do everything on my own and make appts simply for them sign a sheet of paper. they would be more willing to help if i did them in indiana. like i said, I DON'T have a choice for sitting in indiana. you cannot sit in another state that you do not have residency in. if i was concerned with the fastest way, i wouldn't be trying in another state.
  2. i cant stick to reapplying in TN. I'm moving back to Indiana, and it would be pointless to reapply for TN. it will be the same process applying for Indiana as it would be for TN, and i was just simply wondering the wait time. i understand that it does not carry over. but if i tested in TN again, i would have to pay the fee to switch my license, which can get pricey, especially after paying for the test TWICE and paying a fee to switch. it would be easier, for me, to simply apply for Indiana to take the test there.
  3. i just took my PN boards in TN, and my quick results say that i failed. which i'm pretty upset about. i had to wait almost 6 months from getting out of school to take the test. which stressed me out even more. guess i'll just have to study harder next this coming time. but i took them in TN, and i was wondering if anyone knew the wait time for indiana? it says TN is 90 days, but i know some states are 45. i was having a really hard time finding anything out about IN. is it the same as TN?
