  1. Hi all! I just found today that I passed!!!!!!!!!! Just had 75 questions as well. Good luck to everyone yet to take it. Just keep focused, and try to stay calm!! Congrats to everyone!
  2. Hi all! Well, I took the NCLEX RN today, and it shut off after 75 questions. I had one click and drag, about 8 SATA, and alot of prioritization, infection control and medication questions. No questions r/t lab values, or calculations. It took me about 65 minutes to complete, and I honestly do not know how I did. I took the Kaplan, and now the waiting begins!! I tried the Pearson trick already, and it won't let me register for another test. Is this a good sign???
  3. miss anna, I am taking mine today, in WI at 2pm. I am nervous, and don't know what to expect. I will be praying for you. Let us know how you did!!
  4. hello all! Well, the countdown has begun. I am taking the RN NCLEX tomorrow, and I am so nervous!! I just finished the Kaplan Qtest #7,and I got a 58! So, now I feel panicked. My scores on the other tests were: 59, 55, 55, 63, 59, and 62. I do not feel ready, but does anyone?? Any suggestions on what to do the day of the test, besides pray?? I do not take my test until 2pm. It will be a long morning!! thanks, and good luck to everyone!!!!!!!!!!

  8. dear exotic123, If you took the Kaplan, then you know that they said to get in the 60's for the q bank. Just keep doing the questions, using the decision tree when applicable. and review content, I think that is important too! good luck, keep us posted!! I will be so glad when it is over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 12 more days!!!
  9. Hi Soccernae! at least it is behind you!! Let us know how you did. I take mine in 12 days, and I am so sick of studying and doing questions!! good luck!!
  10. Hi all! Thanks to all that replied!! Yes I will be happy in two weeks. Vodka sounds good!! Actually, margaritas are my drink of choice!! I will definitely be having those in a couple of weeks. I will let everyone know what happens! Thanks again.
  11. Hi happygirl09! CONGRATULATIONS!! I am taking the NCLEXRN in two weeks, actually two weeks from yesterday. I am nervous about it. I am doing the same thing you did, I also took the Kaplan review, and have been getting scores in the 60's on my tests. Yesterday, I even got a 72 on one, so I was happy. I am going to keep on studying, and pray that I remain calm and able to think clearly during test time. Congrats, and thanks for the words of wisdom! Gail:nurse:
  12. Hi all! I am taking the NCLEX on June 24th, in WI. I am also scared, and I am glad I am not the only one!! I do not think my brain can handle anymore information. I so want this to be over with, so I can have my life back!! I think I forgot who my husband is! I am so nervous, I try not to think about it. I took the Kaplan review class, and am doing the questions in the Qbank. good luck to all!!
  13. Hi all! Well, I made it through nursing school, and graduated 4 weeks ago!! I am so happy to be done with it, but the studying still continues!! I am taking the nclex in two weeks, and I have a bad case of anxiety!! Any advice?? I took the Kaplan review class, and am doing about 100-150 questions per night. I am also reviewing content from the past year. I graduated with honors, but I feel that doesn't even matter. What matters is being successful on the exam. I welcome any words of advice from anyone who has been through it. I was an LPN for over 25 years, and I don't remember being this nervous for my LPN boards!! Of course, I was much younger!! Thanks!
  14. I agree with the majority. Even though you have a personal relationship with your manager, you need to just be short, concise, and to the point. After reading that you are terminating your employment, they do not want to read the other details. It is better to discuss that in person, if she wants to. It always feels bad to leave a place of employment, but it is a business decision, and the place will not fall apart because of your absence! You have to do what is best for you and your family. good luck in your new job!
  15. to ilovenursing2009, Thanks for your input! That is unfortunate for you about your instructors. I am lucky enough to have teachers that encourage us, and want to teach us. We do have an occasional teacher in the nursing program that are tougher than others, but that has not been the norm. I know there are plenty of teachers that should not be teaching!! good luck to you as well in your endeavors. its too bad you have to move 3000 miles away, but hopefully it will be to your benefit!
