Hello NMnursing student, I have to admit my visit was a little disappointing. I felt as though I was "bothering" when I asked to speak to someone about the program. Perhaps it is that I am tired and ready for some quality sleep. Have you made a decision?

Hi There, I have been trying to do research, study, and work. I am heading to NM tomorrow afternoon. I should be in Las Cruces Thursday morning so I am hoping to make a decision after seeing some type of cirricula or speak with an advisor. Are you in Las Cruces? I believe I am going to accept and if I don't like the program after the first semester I am hoping to transfer to another program. I am not even sure if that is possible. --T You were accepted into a program for Spring 09' correct? From your post I am assuming you have your Bachelors in another area, correct? I had no idea they almost lost their license a few years ago. Thanks for the information. I don't want to be on a waiting list any longer. I have been on one for a little over a year. I am in another state, so I have had no interaction with the staffing.

Bearhug, Has your experience improved? I was just accepted into nursing program at NMSU and am a bit concerned with your post. Is that how all the student nurses feel in that program? I am tired of being on the waiting list here in my hometown. Greentree states all the students feel the same way.

GreenTree, I was just accepted into the nursing program at NMSu and am concerned by some of your post that this nursing school is inadequate. I am supposed to start in January. What program were you accepted in and what year are in if you don't mind sharing. thank you!
