  1. So, I two months into my nursing program, after passing my background check, I was at my b-day party and got into a fight. I called the cops and needless to say, I was the one arrested. I was charged with two counts of assault IV. I called both Oregon and Washington Boards of Nursing and both say that it's not cause for automatic denile, but it would more than likely be cause for an investigation and up in the air as to whether or not I could be licensed. Well now, a year later, I am done with school, filing for the NCLEX and having to answer yes to the 'Have you ever been...' question. I am SO nervous. Does anybody know the chances of them letting me sit for the NCLEX? Has anybody ever had this or heard of someone with assault(s) being licensed? I know I messed up royally, but figured I should at least try instead of thinking 'what if' forever. Thanks!
