  1. I didn't have AP before I took NLN. I just studied the basic study guide for nln and made 99% on science. not much on body parts. Mostly general biology and chemistry.
  2. When I wrote that I was half way drunk b/c of anticipation. I was thinking how I messed up on my verbal. I finally got my score today. comp of 144 and I think 98%. I tell you, if I can do it anyone can. Reading this post help me alot getting prepare for the test. Have a great day!!!
  3. ok I have been on this site and reading since I knew I wanted to be a nurse. I read every gross thing you can expect as a nurse. I still want to be a nurse. I just took my nln last week, i think i sucked at verbal can you do well on nln if you do well? nce
  4. You mean on the computer the sound will be still linked even if I archived the one note book? That will be fantastic. I also read you can print your own paper?
  5. only if you can leave on the recording part for all the lectures. 200 hrs won't last the semester for 2 classes. I'm trying to wrap my mind around how and why the recording won't work after the sound is dumped on the computer like the recorder. I am a gadget freak but tend to over research before buying, I guess I should just plunge and buy it this time immediately. Sounds so good! I saw how you can write vocab in english and will translate it in spanish. Amazing. Also the part with calculator. I wonder if it has second timing to do vital. Thanks Mystic.
  6. How long did you have it? I'm thinking about getting it for my AP. I blank out in class room and retain 20% but if I am listening at home I am more relaxed and can concentrate on what the instructors are saying. Maybe I have ADD
  7. I love what I am reading about the pen but I am a little confused about how it looses link after the 1-8 go in to archives. Why would the writing and the recording break the link? Would the recording be lost? Can the pen also keep track of all the different paper options including all the notebooks, journal and flip notes at all once? So far I am not even in nursing program but only taking prerequsits. I have all the gadgets except the tablet. Instead I have notbook. Last semester the recorder really came in handy for micro. Had to listen to the lecture about 10 times just understand the little bugs... Thanks!!
  8. She said the financial aid office told her that it is for all the medical related degrees b/c so many people are studying these with out being able to get into the programs. Sounds crazy to me. Her CNA class won't be paid by F. aid and she doesn't know what to do. The class is over this Friday. It sounds just unfair.:banghead:
  9. Hi everyone, I'm just in the process of taking CNA and will be taking NLN soon. One person in my CNA informed me that the CC in IL we are attending won't be paying financial aid for classes for pre nursing students unless the student is accepted in the nursing program. This sounds crazy to me because unless you take pre req you won't qualify for applying to the program. Am I missing something here. She said that financial aid told her not even science class will be paid for unless she is accepted in the program. We have a long list of classes we had to have and a great NLN score to get in. This includes AP.
