  1. ]When I say that kbcc is a waste of time I didn't mean it in a negative way. I mean't that it's wayyy too competitive to even try applying to. I know how great their program is.... And I really want to get into a BSN program and not an associates program so that's why I was leaning more toward HUNTER & wanted to try my luck there... jeez whats with the attitude? @ gaileyt, since I have to be a student at hunter, can I take some prereqs at kbcc and then take the last 2 prereqs(whichever classes I decide to take) at Hunter then? I hear that seats for the prereq classes @ Hunter fill up fast so I was wondering if I can take majority of the classes @ kbcc and then take the last few remaining classes at hunter... thanks for your help. And hey if I don't get into the nursing program at Hunter after all is said and done, i'll look into LIU, NYU, etc etc... as long as they are accredited and they offer a BSN... not a big deal... I won't curl up in a corner and cry because the all mighty hunter declined me LOL.
  2. ]Hi all, this is my first post... but anyways here goes. I currently attend Kingsborough CC and after the spring semester of 2099 i'll have an associate degree in liberal arts. Now i've already taken a few of the prereqs for nursing like Bio Human Anat/Physio, General Pysh, Human Developmental Psych & English. I'm not even going to give kbcc's nursing program a shot because it'll be just a waste of time. I know Hunter would be a waste of time too but i'm willing to give it shot there instead of kbcc lol. Now i'm looking at Hunter College website and it says that Microbiology, General Chem w/ labs & Organic Chem w/ Labs, and Intro to Statistics are needed. I'm thinking about staying at KBCC, taking the rest of the prereqs there, then transfer to Hunter and give it go. Would Hunter accept those credits I took or will I have to retake some or all of the prereqs? I'm looking into LIU in Brooklyn also but i'm not really sure of their requirements such as the acceptance of transfer credits or if i'll have to repeat a course because my some credits won't get accepted. Any help/advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
