I have BS is psychology and a foreign MD diploma, I was looking into doing RN online likely will do AS. My question what do I need to get a NP license? With my BS is psychology count as a BS or do I have to get a BSN then MSN to be able to get be NP. If anyone out there is a foreign MD who has become a NP can you tell me how you did it, I would appreciate it. THANX

I have a question maybe others have done this already. I plan to enroll in Excelsior to obtain my RN degree, but I want to continue my studies to get a nurse practitioner ARNP in the future. I live in florida and I know I have to work 2 yrs outside FL as an RN or in a VA hospital. I will probably try to work in a VA hospital in FL for 2 yrs. My question is can I go to school in FL while working in VA hospital to get my NP license. Either online or going to school in florida either FIU or Nova University with just my RN degree from Excelsior? Has any graduates out there from Excelsior gotten their ARNP degree and how did they do it online of did they go to school? Please Help.
