to be a pharmad u need to have a science background i.e physics, chemistry, biology / Mathematics.

Both Phamacist and Pharm.d is one of the same things ..if its a diploma course it just gives u the basic knowledge while to become a complete Pharmacist u need to get a bachelour in Pharmacy and if required a masters degree.

In some countries such as USA Pharmd means doctor of pharmacy which prepares students to continue pharmacy practice as well as enter into academics, while in some countries such as India Pharmad or D.pharm is a 2 year diploma course which is the minimum qualification to get a registration of a pharmacist.

I am not scared of working within the enviornment of blood and all that.. ive been working as a pharmacist in a hospital and its really good working with the patients n helping them out. Thanks a lot for info..:) where in australia are you working?

Hi barkles I am from India and i am joining MN COURSE from march 2009...My friends told me its a very respectable job over there at oz...but im still aprehensive if i have to do crappy stuff lol...

Can you pls tell me how often will i have to do this in a period of 8 months of clinical placement? lol..i know its a very stupid question..but still pls answer me if you can..i more interested for midwifery and pediatric care..may be i will look for another degree in it in future..Thankyou for replying me :)

i am joining Master in nursing from march 2009. I have completed a bachelours degree in pharmacy but due to inadequate finances for masters in pharmacy i have decided to switch on to MN. I wanted to know how is it like working as a Registered Nurse in Australia? Do Registered nurses have to clean, bathe male patients ( sorry to be mean do they have to the crappy stuff aswell?). I respect the job very much and would like to work for the needy but i also I want to consider all aspects of the job. Please reply tell mw how are the working conditions for registered nurses in australia?

Please tell me if registered nurses also have to do the yucky stuff?
