I am graduating in May from a school in Denver but I want to go to San Diego, as Cali is where I am from. Does anyone have any comments they would like to share about new grad programs at the hospitals like if they like it or not. Perhaps what the word is on the street with each hospital, is it hard to get a job? I am applying to Sharps new grad program right now for the ED, would anyone recommend I pay to take ACLS or should I wait to see if we do that in orientation. I guess any advice would be great. I feel like being educated outside the area is a real disadvantage and therefore I feel pretty apprehensive. PS If it means anything this is my second degree. The first was in nutrition. Thanks a million
