I graduated a two year school with an AAS and passed my RN licensing exam this summer. I've been working my first job in a New York City ER since Aug. '08. I want to do my RN BSN distance-learning mode but also want to make sure the degree will be accepted in California, where I plan to move in a year or two. I've heard the Cal. State Bd of Nursing doesn't accept Excelsior's program because of an absence of a clinical component. Anyone know how a BSN from U. of Phoenix is regarded by California employers, and for getting into graduate programs? Thanks.
