Got another question you mentioned CCAC GPA is important, I had to transfer all of my credits in does this have a negative outlook on my app.? seeing I have not taken any courses at CCAC? If you know the answer to that one.

Hello everyone and thank you for your much needed updates for Spring 2010. I too have applied to CCAC and I'm coming all the way from Arizona the waitlist here is unbelievable (2yrs). I'm anxiously waiting for any news from the school as well, you all have been really helpful in sharing your information. On the school's voicemail it says all will be notified by Nov 5th of your status, so just alittle while longer. I'm hoping to be in the runnings with only NRN classes to complete just wanted to say thanks for the info and hope all goes well for everyone. Question tho if one doesn't make it for Spring do you start the process all over again with transcripts and all? Does anyone think maybe there's a better chance at getting in for the Fall session due to more campuses accepting students at that time? Just wondering,thanks

Thank you so much I felt better after I read your reply about the scores I was really worried about that. I did read about the extra points but wasn't sure how that worked. I chose Allegheny and Boyce because those were the only two accepting for this semester. I guess whichever one I get I'll be happy with it I'm staying hopeful while waiting for the letters thank you again. Let me know when you get your letter !!

Hi Rquinz, Congrats on the great scores I'm in Arizona an I actually applied to CCAC for spring 2010 but my scores are nothing like that but can use a little help is it hard getting in to that school because my NET scores were really low I only had a comp of like a 72 and my GPA which I had to transfer in all of my credits is like a 3.3 not sure of my chances getting in at all I've finished all of my classes all I have are the nursing classes to do but I feel very discouraged knowing my scores are not up to par any suggestions or tips would be helpful trying to do things from here is a little hard.Thanks

Okay ladies I want to thank you all for your kind words and assistance. I finished everything that was needed before the deadline which was September 11th for the spring session. I only have the nursing courses to take, now just waiting to see if I've made the cut. I definitely hope I do, what do they really look at? I know there are alot of people applying another question ladies if you don't make it what do you do just reapply or what? I am so nervous about this process is everyone usually placed? and seeing that only 2 campuses are accepting students this spring is that less of a chance of getting in? if I don't make it maybe there's a better chance in fall when the other campuses are accepting than. Also looking to apply to other programs but this diploma nursing what's the difference between that an ADN, is it widely accepted? never heard of diploma nursing over here. Is there a difference in pay or what again thank you ladies again for all your support.

Hello, can anyone help I'm trying to apply to CCAC Allegheny for Spring 2010 deadline is Sept11 and need to know if your chemistry is over 10 years will they still accept it? Also if all pre-req's are done do you usually get in or what is the process if anyone know's and I hear they give you a choice of 2 campuses to pick what would be a good one to pick I'm coming from AZ so can use a few tips if anyone has would be much appreciated thanks everyone. Also are there any other programs I might can apply to just in case I don't get into CCAC?
