Yes, that number is very accurate (54), but remember this that is 46 out of 90 not out of 100. The 100 number is very deceiving since it is 90 new students with 10 returning students from last year. Every semester SC4 takes in so many students from previous years that failed so when it comes to graduration the final number is very decieving (so it dose not look that it is such a small class). With 46 students failing in the first semester out of 90 new students something has to be said about a program like this (instuctors). I know of no other school that has such a dropout rate. My advice is if you can get into a different nursing school is just that. Your chances of sucess would be greater than at SC4. Those number don't lie (46 out of 90). SC4 will not give you those number, but I know first hand that those number are very close to being accurate.

Can anyone here on the forums tell me what their experience has been from graduating from this school has been? As in passing the exam for your license and how long/ if you were able to find a job afterwards. Thanks to all that will comment here.

Where did you purchase that book, From SC4 bookstore? I would ordered it also, anything that would help me get a head start is appreciated. Can you tell me what nursing pricnables consist of (all three parts). In your opinon why did those 13 fail? Did they not take it serious enough? Was it not for them ? I am just trying to get an edge here. One of my pitfalls is my grammer, it is not up to par with the nursing society. I just got to keep trying to get up on that level. I heard nothing but good things about the instructors at clinicals (it just makes the studies go so much easier when there is no one jumping on you). Well, with me my wife takes care of the children, she always has so I got you beat on that one :p. If I do get accepted I am moving down there, and coming home on the weekends.

That fine, I do have many questions, to start off for now you seemed to be a person on different threads that always responded to other people questions about the SC4 program so that's why I am picking on you. (a) Let's say that I am getting in for example, if you have all your preq. in how difficult is the first semester then? (b) There was someone that before you replied to and that person had to retake the program do you remember? I am in the same boat but in the LPN course, and I have until Jan 30th to decide which way I what to go. It's either I reapply and hope to get back in the LPN course or go on the hopes of getting into the RN program (You can't apply for both at the same time). © My main intentions were always to go for my RN but where I am from it just seemed a better idea to go LPN than on to RN. Now that I been to the campus last semester for classes and also this semester, I don't have a problem with the campus scene. How hard is Pharmacology your first semester? I taken the one for the LPN course but when I looked at the schedule for the RN it's 2 credits hours but 5 contact hours. This only makes me think that it's got to be the hardest and most time demanding subject of all. (d) When you start your clinicals just how would you rate it from the start of the program to where you are now as in difficulty. (e) my advisor said that with my 85.4 total score is good as compared to what the cutoff point was last year. Have you heard about what students are attaining this year? My grade point aveg. was 3.57 with Phy 220, Patho. , and Health care missing from my preq. ( I will have these in by fall), my HESI was 94.31. (f) How would you advise a person that is not in the program yet to start getting a head start on pharmaclogy. What was the best way that you or some other students in your class studied for it.

Go to : sc4.edu/nursing, and follow the links to get to where and what you what to know. I know the college takes scores from three different areas . GPA, amount of preq. you got in, and your HESI score, the scores are calculated all together and from there it's up to were the cutoff is if you got in or not.

HI, took the HESI test at SC4 last week and scored an 94.31. I was really glad with this score. Did anyone else here take it and want to share their score? I know that there are other parts that SC4 averages your final score with, but I am hoping to get in this year. I guess last year cutoff off was 83. My counselor said my was 85.4 this year so I am praying.

Hi, Just got my acceptance letter from SC4 for the LPN course in Bad Axe ,Mi.. I was talking to some friends and they thought there was a scholarship for male nurses. Does any one know which website I could go on to find out more information about this ? Does anyone have any good leads on any other scholarships availalble out there ? Thank you in advance
