  1. Recert FNP-C in Texas (Help Please)

    I need some help with re-certification of my FNP-C license. I received my license in February of 2015 and it says that I have to renew by March 31st of 2016. When I look at the board website and the AANP website it states that I need 75 contact hours of CE and 1000 clinical work hours every 5 years. I have only had my license for 1 year. Do I still have to submit 1000/75 hours or is the first re-cert different? Sorry for my ignorance but I'm new to this. Thanks in advance. Cory
