    Hi- am new here, but this caught my eye! I was laid off last May, have been working disability/case management/insurance type jobs for 15 yrs. This is the 7th or 8th time I have been laid off doing these type of jobs, and am now trying to get back into patient care. My hands on background is mental health/chem dep. I have applied to numerous positions since June, only 2 interviews! The last one @ Fairview said I need to go through RN refresher course before they could hire me, even though it is mental health work. Only one I could find is Normandale, and they are not yet accepting applicants for their January program. Any others here in the Twin Cities or close by that anyone knows of? Another option might be temp agency work to get hands on experience. Anyone work with any agency they would recommend? Thanks!!
