  1. Hi! I am a new grad in a pediatric ED and I have been reading many threads on this board. Apparently, there are some issues between the ICU/ED staffs in some hospitals. Since I am new, I want to help learn as much as I can so that I can be part of the solution. My question is this... What advice do you as a PICU nurse have for a new Pedi ED nurse that will help me both with better patient care/transfers as well as establishing a better relationship with the PICU. Please, this is not a ER/ICU bash thread, and I ask for honest, professional and RESPECTFUL responses. Thanks in advance for your responses!
