    Hello, Does anyone know of any companies that have home-based telephonic review or disease/case management? I have been a nurse for 33 years and have extensive CM/UR/HMO experience. I just took McKesson's CPHC exam. I am a Director of Case Mangement, but I am tierd of the management end. Thanks! Star

    Just got back from attending McKesson's CPHC (Certified Professional in Healthcare Management) and I highly recommend it for anyone in UR/CM! Great over view of multiple topics related to the field! Exam was not that hard and speaker was great at preparing you to pass the exam!! Star

    Hello, CPHC is a certification offered by McKesson. It stands for Certified Professional Healthcare Management. It use to be offered as 2 seperate certifications, CPUR (Utilization Review) and CPUM (Utilization Management), has recently been combined. I am taking the certification next week in San Francisco. A lot of insurance information, Medicare, Medicaid, HMO's. I am a Director of Case Management in an acute care hospital and have worked for both a HMO and Medicare. Star
