  1. I checked out the dosage calculations book from the bookstore. It is $76.00. To my surpise it is not a small booklet that I first thought it was. I did not realize that there was a class with Weds off until you mentioned it. I checked and it is already full. As for the the ttl for the classes, they were around $1151.50 and I am not sure if the insur was included. Once you register for classes in orientation, you will know if financial aid covers everything.
  2. You will have to take the TEAS for the nursing program. I think the deadline for fall 09 is in February.
  3. Yea, I hope it has nothing more to do with additional expenses. I am going to check out that book about dosage calculations that they say is in the book store. I was also looking into the stafford loan. I just want to make sure that all is covered before classes start.
  4. Yes, I got my packet. We have to do alot of things to get started. I made some appointments already. Do you know where I can get the drug screening done? I don't know what that camp class is about but it is mandatory. I need to look into some scholarships too.
  5. Yea, that is the only schedule I see so far. It looks okay, but during that time, we are going to get tons of info so the little time thats left will be for studying.
  6. One class is 6 credit hrs and the other is 2 credit hrs. On Mondays and Weds will have class basically from 8 am to 2pm, Tues from 9am to about 12 noon. It does not look like we are going to have class on Thurs but labs are on Fridays, I don't see a time for that. It looks like we are basically going to be in school all day everyday except for Frdys.:typing
  7. Thanks Dreamon, you will get in a program. New student orientation is Nov 20, but I don't think I need to attend since I am already doing classes there. Once you attend new student orientation, then you will be unlocked so that you can register for classes. I will pass on any other information I get leading up to that time. Can't wait to meet you guys:bugeyes:
  8. Cangrats on getting in :yeah:I received my acceptance letter in the mail too:D
  9. Unfortunatlely, marta does not go down there. Anyway, I will let you know when I get my letter also.
  10. That will be great so we can save a little on gas:) I think it will be worth the drive because I only hear positive remarks about their program. I am currently taking 2 classes down there and the drive is actually not that bad. I am always going against traffic. I know Emory is a great school, but due to the cost I really didn't look into it. Either way, just to get into a nursing program will be a blessing:bow:
  11. Hi! I am so happy that you reply! I live in Stone Mountain and Gordon is the only college I applied to for the nursing program. I was starting to think that I was alone on this. I called them too and they said that they will be starting to mail out letters in mid October. I am so nervous! I really hope I get in and I hope the same for you!
  12. Are there any 2009 hopefulls for Gordon College?
