    To all, I currently live in BR and work at OLOL. I didn't get accepted to OLOL but got accepted to LSU. I currently live 2 miles away from campus and highly recommend finding a place in the area. I would not recommend living in the Gardere area. It's area that has been having an increase in crime rate over the past couple of years. One Perkins place is a relatively cheap townhouse complex that is pretty much on the OLOL campus. I would also recommend Chateau Dijon apartment complex which is about a mile away from the hospital. Another nice apartment complex is Mansions in the Park on Perkins. I hope this helps some. If anyone knows of any nice, reasonably priced places to live in New Orleans, please let me know.
