Goodness Gracious youre a busy girl! :) Well I hope we get to be in the same class :) I just got my postcard stating that my application has been processed and that they will be sending out letters in late march! aaahhhhh im anxious!!!!! Im not sure about the Teas test but Ive heard its not really bad. Im sure we will do well on it! :) Keep me posted on whats going on for you !! :)

Thanks for all the great info!! :) I appreciate it!! Im really excited and nervous all at the same time! What is considered competitive grades? I have a 3.0 overall in college as well as a Bachelors already so I hope that looks good on paper :) We shall see I guess. I will be holding my breath untill the letters go out!

Im really nervous/anxious/excited but still not trying to get my hopes up too high :) Is this the first time youre applying? :) Im with you in that this is the only program I am applying to for Fall 2010. :) Hopefully we will be in the same class together!!!

thank you again phrozenone!i really appreciate all of you help! i am brand new to tennessee and have to stay in the knoxville area for school so the only schools that i know besides ut and south college is roane. do the other one's have knoxville campuses? thank you for giving me other schools to look at too!! also my other question for you is there much difference in pay between getting your associates in nursing versus your bachelors? i graduated from kansas state with a bachelors in science so most of my pre-reqs are done so i just need to figure out what school to go for to get my degree in nursing. i have been told that bachelors is the way to go. is that true? or does it really not matter too much? im just a little drawn to south college's program due to the quarter system, even though your paying a pretty penny for it. did your friend seem to like the program? thank you again for all of your help!! i really appreciate it!!!

I recently graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Agriculture majoring in Animal Science/Pre-Vet. I am currently taking a few Nursing Pre-reqs due to me having graduate level courses in Equine Nutrition, Physiology and Anatomy...just not anything dealing with the Human side. :) I was on the pre-vet route when I decided that I want to switch gears and go into the human medical field versus veterinary medicine. With all of my research work I did for KSU and internships and externships I do have quite an impressive list of medical experience but only on the veterinary side. My question is, what would be your advice to get prepared for the masters application process? I have spoke with a few Directors of Nursing from Universities that I am interested in already...and I am taking some more classes to give me the Human side of science (even though it is not too far off of what I have already studied) What would you do in my shoes??????????
