  1. I live in central New Jersey, and still havent heard anything from all of the applications I have filled out. I am getting very discouraged. Im thinking about applying to some LTC facilities, but Im worried that hospitals wont accept me after I get experience there bc they would look down upon LTC experiences. any responses to that? thanks so much guys
  2. hi guys. i called HR for all the hospitals that i applied at and each one told me they would contact me if i fit the criteria for the position. i asked if it would help if i came in and personally handed in my resume and they said no they dont accept resumes. i need to fill out online applications which i have already done!!! does anyone have any names of nursing recruiters who can find and place me in a job?? thanks for all your help
  3. hi everyone. i am a new rn, just graduated in may, took nclex in july, and passed! yay!! however!!!!!!!!! i have been applying everywhere for over a month now!! i haven't gotten one phone call back for anything!! i got an email from someone about a position and i called him 3 times and he never returned my calls!!! i fax my resume with personalized cover letters only to recieve a phone call from hr saying "we don't accept resumes. you need to fill out an application online!" so those are the only phonecalls i do get! i fill out the online apps and ... nothing! no one ever contacts me! i am so eagar to get out there!! i feel like i went through all of that school and studying and $money$ for nothing!!! many of the people i went to school with have been hired, but most of them were emts, paramedics, or knew someone somewhere!! i am getting very discouraged. does anyone have any ideas? should i go to the hospitals?! hand them my resume?! help!!!!!!!!!!

  5. hi everyone. i recently graduated from nursing school back in may. i took my boards in july and recieved my licence early august. i have been applying like crazy to many places for a position as an rn. i am getting very frustrated because i haven't had any luck finding a position. many places say they want 1-2 years experience to even apply! does anyone have any ideas? any nursing recruiters or something to help me? i am so eagar to start my new career and i'm getting very discouraged from the lack of responses and positions. thanks for any help or advice you all have!!!! xoxox
