Well Currently am not attending class this semester due to some issues. Ok here is my story, I applied to Bmcc in May of 07. I only applied because I was going to try to complete this program called ASAP, Which allows you to go to Bmcc & take classes for free. Unfortunately I didn't get accepted to that program. & I choose Liberal Arts for my major, since you could have only choosen 4 different majors. So I am stuck with Liberal Arts. I took the ACT, while I was still in high school, not knowing what I was getting myself into unprepared. And failed the test. All 3 Math Reading & Writing. Then I was sentence to summer school in my high school for 3 classes. I passed and graduated in September and I couldn't attend classes in Bmcc by the time I got it. Then in Spring 08 I took one semester for my remedial courses. I passed my Math & Writing. O did I mention I obtain no credits what so ever. So ok, Lately I been beating myself up, about a career I might want to pursue, & Nursing interests me the most. Of course am planning to commit to it. So am planning to Change my Curriculum from liberal arts, to nursing. In the Bmcc website, Clearly states I have to complete my all remedial courses. Which possibly I have to take a couple more I don't know why. info on bmcc nursing, can get it herehttp://www.bmcc.cuny.edu/health/nursing/NUR.html#1 Change of Curriculum policyhttp://www.bmcc.cuny.edu/health/nursing/NUR.html#10 Now I have big worries because. I don't know how long I need take certain courses and actually be ready to move to Nursing. On top I hear stories about how tough it is to get into actual nursing Classes. My biggest worry is my Father actually paying the tuition, Even though we are paying it monthly. He tells me he is willing to keep paying, that he doesn't mind. Having the guilt that he is paying for it sucks. I really need advice.
