  1. I clearly remember having 2 math questions very similar to each other when I took the NCLEX a couple of months ago. I had to convert mcg to mg then give a certain dosage and configure it with the driprate giving one of my answers in how many drips per min an the other in how many drips per hour. Just take you time with the questions, read them carefully and be confident. I think these questions were weighted pretty heavy but its hard to judge. Hope that helps a little.
  2. So I'm going to a Cardiac Step Down unit interview next week, what kind of questions should I be prepared for? Also what vital questions should I be asking aside from the basics? Its my first big interview of since I've graduated nursing school so I'm just a bit nervous. What tossed me for a loop is I applied at this hospital for an OR position which I'm guessing they filled w/ someone else but they also had a Cardiac opening they also submitted my resume too. I'm still up and down when it comes to being excited/overwhelmed just thinking about the position but I feel once I get rolling in the position I can get the hang of anything. Any advice greatly appreciated! Thanks! :redpinkhe
