  1. Just wanted to say thank you to Bethem and Sharrie for replying to my post...I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to reply to me with some good advice Well, I had the interview yesterday and they phoned me this morning. I was soooo nervous and was prepared for the worst, but guess what...I got the job!!!!!!!!!! I really can't believe it, I am so, so happy :w00t: Really can't wait to start! xx
  2. Hi Bethem :) Thank you for replying to my post...I really appreciate it! No, that doesn't sound weird at all! A few people have told me to be calm and confident...which is goint to be very hard because I am soooo nervous and, like you, am very shy. I'm going to do my best though! I've got plenty of critical care/ICU books, so I'm trying to swat up on them! As well as look on here for any ideas. Thanks again for your input! If anyone else has any help/advice I would really appreciate it
  3. Hello I'm a newly qualified nurse in the UK, and I've applied for a job on ICU. I've always been interested in critical care nursing and I loved my critical care placement on HDU. Well...I've got an interview for ICU and I am really excited, but also terrified!! This will be my first interview. I'm not very good at interviews, and I was hoping someone might be able to give me some tips, and advice on how to make a good impression and stand out. If anyone can give me some example questions that I may get asked, I would be really grateful! :)
