  1. Hi All I'm planning on moving to MA in the next year and had a couple of questions. Just as some back up information, I do realize the "nursing glut" in MA. However, I grew up there and moved to FL 6 years ago. I now have a daughter, and my husband and I are realizing how much we miss the family we have up there. Basically, moving back to MA is a non-issue - we will be moving back, I'm just a little hazy on the logistics. I plan to contact some nurse recruiters this December when we are home for Xmas to hopefully get some insite on what will make me the most marketable for their hospital. At the time I am looking to move I will have 1+ years experience in a NeuroICU at a well known & respected teaching hospital. I want to get a job at one of the bigger hospitals in Boston, however I will be applying elsewhere (ie. on the Southshore) as well. My question is: how will I handle the application & interview process while living in Florida? I would like to have a job set up before moving up there - but is that even possible? Has anyone been through this before? Sorry this turned out so long! And thanks for any help anyone can give me!
