  1. Here's my work dilemma: I'm new at a hospital and I feel totally behind the 8 ball. I have worked where I am for about a couple months now (3d/wk 7a to 7p) and I feel I was thrown on the floor too fast. My biggest issues are with my time and task management and with getting used to the EMR that is used. I find myself feeling totally overwhealmed and I don't like feeling that way and I become really anxious, feeling like I'm missing things or leaving things out. I'm not really sure what it is that I should do, I'm really attempting to better organize myself but is there anyone out there who works on a med/surg floor with adult patients who might have some tips for being the new kid? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, Rob
