  1. I got the book list! Just wondering -- it say no books for NURS 337 which is Genetics in Nursing & Health. Is this correct or is there a book that we will eventually have to purchase?
  2. For me it looks like this... Mondays 8-10 (Nursing Informatics) 10-11 BREAK 11-2 (Hlth Assesment Across the Lifespan) Tuesday 8-11 (Hlth Assesment Across the Lifespan) 11-12 BREAK 12-2 (Ethics Advocacy & Prof. in Nursing) 2-4 (Principle of Nursing Practice) Wednesday Nothing.....yet Thursday 2-4 (Principle of Nursing Practice) Friday 8-10 (Nursing Informatics) 10-11:20 (Health Promotion, Teaching & Self Care) 11:20 -1 BREAK 1-2 (Genetics in Nursing & Health) I don't know what I was expecting....I guess I thought we would be in class a full 8 hours 5 days a week. Like I said, this schedule actually looks do-able!
  3. Has anyone gotten their schedule yet? It is posted, minus the lab for Nursing Practice and it actually looks do-able. I am wondering what is missing.....
  4. Thanks to both of you fo your help :) Has anyone rented an apartment yet? I have been searching Craigslist and I have used The Philadelphia Apartment Co (very helpful) but I still haven't decided on a place yet. I just can't believe how much it costs! Rent is anywhere around $1000 or above, plus utilities, plus many places you have to pay to park which ranges from $100-$200 a month! I guess I had better decide on a place soon because the first day of class will be here before we know it!
  5. I am submitting my loan application to them as well. I found them through Drexel's financial aid website which lead me to simpletutition.com. On there it says that the APR ranges from 2.66% to 9.05%. It is the best one I have seen. Thanks for getting back to me -- every step I make towards school seems to make me nervous! Also -- did you receive the background check and the drug testing paperwork? I am so confused at to what to do with this. I have called Kelly Myrick but she has not responded to me yet. If anyone can lead me in the right direction with these two things I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.
  6. Just wondering what loans everyone has been checking into? Any know anything about the PNC Solution Loan? Let me know if you do! I am so excited to meet all of you! Not too much longer now!
  7. Hello everyone! I just found out on Friday that I was accepted to Drexel for the Spring of 2009! I am so excited and so relieved! Just wanted to contact some of my fellow classmates so that we can get a chance to know each other before classes begin in March! Congratulations to everyone that has been accepted! If you are still considering Drexel for the Spring of 2009 the website says that they are still accepting applications, so get em' in!! :)
