Hi, I am working as a Community Health Nurse Supervisor in AZ state. I talked with my employer yesterday and they said they can file H1b first and within a month Green card for me. I am currently in OPT will expire my OPT in January, if incase my H1B denied can I still work until my green card decision been made? Also is it OK to file H1b and green card at the same time? I do not have VSC yet will that affects my H1b or green card? Are there any good Lawyer anyone one knows that can help me through this process? My employer has no lawyer that can work for nurses so i am thinking to have my own lawyer please give me some idea where to go? Thankyou for the help in advance. Sincerely, boracay beach.

Hi Silverdragon, I am working as a community health nurse supervisor in Arizona state, and i found in AZ they dont need visascreening just the CES do you think my employer can apply H1B without the visa screening? its been a month i started this job and they really want me to stay and work for them, because of the nurse shortage in this area. Hi yes they are willing to pay my fare, and it is really remote place where no American nurses wants to go I found there is no stores like Walmart as well, sounds awkward though.. I am waiting and preparing for the interview..

yes the requirement is BSN or higher and needed 5 years of experience as well and also the opened date was last year of january and they have not received any qualified candidate yet and so i have masters degree and experience so will that make me eligible? I would appreciate if you reply me, i have a face to face interview which is 6 hours flight from where i live. Thank you and waiting for the response.

Hi to all, I would like to know if there are any one who went to CES after got RN license from CALIFORNIA. I need to endorse license in AZ and they need CES certification. Did you again do all the process again at the CGFNS(eg: sending OTR from schools )or you just told California to sent the documents directly to CGFNS? I graduated from Philippines as an international student and there are no one who could again help me sending OTR and other stuff to CGFNS. I am so frustrated? Just wondering anyone has same situation or any information. Regards,

Hi Sarmi, I would suggest you to choose the state first where you want to apply? My friends (pcl nursing ) they did the process from NY. so look at their web site and print and fill the form and sent to BON with check. and tell your parents to sent all the documents in BON address. The NY will let you know if they need additional documents. However if you are enrolling in BSN here in USA it is wise to go through CAlifornia. because they are quick in processing. keep reading NCLEX and as soon as you get the ATT you can give the exam. Hi Alli_soso, Sorry to hear your problem, I am wondering if you had such a nice employer who would file for H1B why did not they put you in case manager or somewhat in managerial position while applying H1. If you are filing again try to change the job description and position, once you are accepted you can always work as RN. Talk with your employer and try your best. Good luck,

Hi silverdragon, I tried to call the AZ BON but did not get hold of them and also no reply of email yet. I am wondering when did you get the AZ license? Is visa screening and CES is the same? I know visa screening you need TOEFL but how about CES? Anyone who endorse licence in AZ please help me with my problem. Hi all, I am RN from California. I got a job offer from Arizona state and need to endorse my license sooner. I was looking at the AZ BON web site and it says it is a compact state. My questions are: Do i have to give TOEFL to be eligible to endorse my license? Also do they accept the credential done from California BON? To all Nurses around the world, I have an Graduate Internship from this summer semester, I am working as a geriatric Nurse in Transition care Unit. Before I would start my internship there I suppose to tell the director what project I want to do during my 2 months internship. I have no idea what kind of project would be good for the patients. It is so confusing some says I just need to do credential from CGFNS the web site of INDY says if the CABON could provide the original documents to IND it will be ok, I am really in dilemma..

isa Screen requires passing an English exam. IELTS is one that will meet that requirement, TOEFL is another test that you can take. Didn't you have to take an English exam prior to getting admitted to grad school? I know I did. You don't need to take the CGFNS exam at all. Hi, Thank you first of all, and yes I did took GRE, TOEFL way back more than 3 years ago it is expired already, and I did not get good score in speaking so need to do it again, I am a good student with nice GPA :) I am wondering will they waive the English requirement if I have experience studying in USA as a graduate student? Also what is mean by you don't need to take CGFNS? if I have to endorse my license in other state says CGFNS required state how would I endorse it, should I give CGFNS again? can you pls write about it too? I found that Indiana state needs CGFNS for the international nurses what is that mean? should I have to give CGFNS and only I could endorse my license ?
