  1. I never heard of a "stat lock" what company makes them? Thanks again.
  2. Dear Colleagues, I have a young (7 year old) slightly developmentally challenged girl on my unit. Physicians feel she will need a PICC line and my fear is she will remove it if it is not well protected. Can anyone offer some suggestions for protecting the line in a patient like this? She picks at everything including her IV's. What is the best method for protecting this line? Does anyone know what precentage of PICC lines (or central lines in general) are pulled out by patients? Thank you all for your help!!
  3. We are a very small hospital - 59 beds. The department of health wants to see a plan of care on each patient. I think care plans or care maps would be the way to go. If we can get a product that has prewritten plans - it would certainly yeild higher compliance. Thanks for responding.
  4. We have Citrix and Powerchart but we do not have that as an option. Would it be possible for you to let me know what version you use? Perhaps we can purchase an upgrage. Thanks for responding.
  5. Does anyone use a company for their basic plans of care (like Lippincot or Mosby)? We are trying to develop care maps and I would like not to have to start from scratch if possible. Thank you!
