  1. Take a look at www.nationalAHEC.org My understanding is that there is an application process for each training session. There is a fee (per certificate/student) that you would pass on to the attendees (they are used to this)...you as the instructor handles the paperwork and the certificates are mailed 4-6 weeks after the event. If using AHEC the fee for CEs is writen seperately to AHEC. You fill out an application for the actual class: there has to be at least one objective, the CE hours are in specific increments (breaks and lunch time do not count), you provide a speaker bio and some other info I cannot remember off the top of my head. Hope this helps Good Luck
  2. ----------- i have no nursing in my background; my specialty is adult learning. i hold what is traditionally a sdn position at ccrc. this is a great opportunity because i am able to work with all departments (dietary, housekeeping, healthcare, etc.). i have 7 years experience in public mental health (same position), so i have worked with nurses and physicians for several years. i am looking for all the help and support i can get. what i bring to the table is years of networking around staff development in many industries.
  3. Did you take the secured and UNsecured loans? THis would give a bit more money to play with each semester.
