  1. I am starting a cna class in sept. The class ends in feb because its only on sat and we take time off for thanks giving and christmas. The lpn class starts in feb and it last 18. I can't live off just being a cna. Should I take the phlebotomy class first and wait until next sept to take lpn or should I just go for lpn? And how much more do you make if you are a cna plus a phlebotomist?
  2. i was just curious as to what you are doing after cna. are you staying a cna? if not, whats next?!?!?!
  3. I am starting school to be a cna this September. I want to become an RN. My goal was to work as a cna until them but after further research I see that I will only be making around 10.00 an hour in the Hampton Roads area (Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Hampton, ect.) in Virginia. But I want to work with the elderly. I find its so much to learn from them and also just caring for another person feels so good.:redbeathe BUT!, . . . the question I have is how r u all making it on little pay? And why continue to work as a cna for 8.50 or 9.50? I mean I just need a little of encouragement because it seems as if I am going to have a full time job being a cna, plus another job on the weekends as a cna to make ends meet?
