  1. I know this is an older post, but sheesh your response ms. jean is dead on what I needed to hear. I too have several degrees, still trying to find the right fit between ideal and reality and I'm pretty sure now that nursing is it. thank you for the kick in the pants! I'm in my late late 30s and starting my prereqs while still keeping my day job. I know it's what i should have done a long time ago, but let self doubt get in the way. not any more. thanks!!!:
  2. :yeah::heartbeat Thanks so much. I can't possibly plunge my family into 30k+ debt by attending those other schools. Plus those schools are mostly full time for the BSN program. I need to keep working. I have 2 girls in middle school and nothing beats CSCC flexible class scheduling. Can you apply to the traditional program and the Online program at the same time to see which one you can get into? The online seems great, but can you continue to work full time? I am curious to know if you work while studying in the online program? Thanks!
  3. Thanks for your reply! I just want to make sure I take the one that will carry me through to Bio 261, the first Bio in the nursing program. Bio 100 qualifies, is listed as a prereq, but I am worried that it may be too basic. Should I take Bio 111 instead?:typing:redbeathe
  4. Hi. I am new here and have researched all of the columbus area RN education options and have decided to choose CSCC for my RN degree. I already have a BA from OSU and work full time so, even though it may take a while, at least it's cheap and I don't have to quit my day job as I am well into my late 30s. So my question to any CSCC users, which BIO is better for the BIO 261 prereq requirement? Should I take BIO 100, 101, or 111? Same question for Chemistry, should I take Chem 100, 101, or 111? I am looking for the easiest that still qualifies, without having to take them all and without missing out. Thanks!
