  1. Hi Lyn73, I retook the test and passed!! The second time around was much easier and the language seemed a lot more straight forward. I didn't have too much about HTN but I did get a few questions on Lipid management. I also got a few of the same questions from the first test so make sure you try to review any material you remember being on the first test. Also I went online and took a course from the National Healthcare Institute and I think that really helped. The questions they had were similar to ones I saw on the AANP. Their review also made things a lot clearer and easier to understand. If you have any other questions feel free to send me a message.
  2. I recently took the AANP, and failed. I feel like the test was written in another language and was not at all what I had prepared for. I'm wondering if anyone else took the test and has felt the same or taken it for a second time and passed.... Any advice? I'm feeling discouraged and not sure what to do next. I have a date already set up for my next attempt but not feeling very confident.
  3. hey everyone, well its my first time on this and i'm not sure how to put this so here goes, I just graduated from nursing school in August and got this awesome job doing exactly what I wanted. Except this Wednesday because of the economy and the fact that the hospital isn't doing very well they had to downsize our unit, and of course since i'm the new girl, they had to let me go (along with 10 other nurses on my unit). I always wanted to work at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and was hoping someone out there could help me get a foot in... if anyone could help that would be great. Thanx and happy thankgiving :) :nuke:
