  1. Well everyone.. I just finished my critical care training and started working in the ER at St. Johns in queens Ny and I am trully, incredibly happy. There is, however, a problem I need advice on. I have flat feet, I'm a size 13 AND CANT SEEM TO FIND A confortable anything and my feet are killing me!!! I'm on my second pair of sneakers (I did not think it was going to be a marathon!!!!) I need advice on good walking sneakers (I'm not a fan of shoes). Can some of you help me? Thanks male nurse with sneaker problem:(
  2. Wow, it is amazing how people you don't know can be there for you and mean so much. Thanks to all of you for your support and words of encouragement. I will be starting my new RN career at St. John's Queens Hospital. I will be working Full-Time Flex (7:30 am - 7:30pm) in the Emergency Department. I will begin critical care classes on September 8th. I received my license and diploma and I have to tell you all that it was accompanied by an incredible sense of accomplishment and joy I had never felt before. I am a male Registered Nurse!!!! Thank you all!!!!

  5. I just posted before, sorry. But mine shut off at 77 questions. lots of priority, delegation,implementation and infection control 2 sata, 2 meds I'm FREAKING OUT. THESE TWO DAYS ARE GOING TO BE VERY DIFFICULT. I can't even remember the actual questions!!!!!(IT'S LIKE A BLURR):heartbeat
  6. Hello everyone. I just took the nclex, first time. Threw up 4 times and I'M FREAKING OUT! MOST QUESTIONS WHERE ON PRIORITIES, ACTIONS, INTERVENTIONS, INFECTIN CONTROL, STANDARD PRECAUTIONS AND WHICH PT WOULD YOU PUT IN WHAT ROOM AND WITH WHAT PT. NO MATH AND ONLY 2 MED QUESTIONS. iT SHUT OFF AT 77 QUESTIONS? iT WAS SOOOOO DIFFERENT FROM WHAT I studied with kaplan and hessi...I feel like pasing out...help!!!!!:heartbeat
