more bad news once again, lpn-to RN whenever....
i've checked everywhere, they exist but most require 1 year of work, I want to go straight through. The only one that doesn't require 1 yr of work, makes you take additional pre req to get in, spanish and organic chem... which ends up delaying you. ahhhhhh!

GA BON no longer accepting Excelsior education; Speak up Cont. Updates!!
i called the GA state board of nursing and they said that they are NOT letting anyone who is going through excelsior sit for the NCLEX, however you can sit in another state for that test BUT you have to work 500 clinical hours under that RN license in THAT state before you can get a transfer license from state of GA.

more bad news once again, lpn-to RN whenever....
Ok, just graduated from an LPN program and passed my boards, however trying to do a bridge LPN-BSN , and checking out my options. Has anyone everyone gone that route through college network and been successful? Also just found out that the state that i'm living in and Excelsior are going by two different rules. I might have to do 500 clinical hours in another state once an RN license has been obtain, through excelsior. Not sure i want to jump through hoops with excelsior either. it's seems like i'll be purchasing my seat to sit for the NCLEX and even after the $ i dropped, i might still not get through on my CPNE. I need advice. THis is crazy....

GA BON no longer accepting Excelsior education; Speak up Cont. Updates!!
Hi Demorhm, I just finished a LPN program in GA and sat for the NCLEX this week, i'm hoping to start Excelsior in the fall and pursue my RN. If the State of Georgia is not accepting Excelsior and require 500 clinical hours, what other choices do we have to get an RN in time limit. I just read the post about the one girl who needs to get on zoloft, i feel the same way, very discouraged and dejected. Need advice or guidance......
