  1. Thanks oobie! Same here, I've been seeing this review center in the internet but never heard of anyone who tried their review program :dncgcpd:
  2. Hi guys! have you heard of careerworx review center in ortigas? any feedback? :wtosts:
  3. No I’m still waiting to be deployed because the instruction to us was to wait and once we’re already in Canada that is the only the time that we could process everything, but I already have my eligibility.. so yeah maybe by February I’m going to sit for the exam.. Thanks for taking time answering my inquiries, you gave me a lot of insights which I already shared to my friends. God bless you and your family! :flowersfo
  4. Just a little comment.. Nursing is a great profession. And I'm proud to be a nurse because not everyone can stand the sight of blood and secretions coming from the patients and not everyone can manage to look brave while attending to a dying person. But one thing that I hate and never want to experience again- to nurse someone who is dear to me. Really painful and agonizing..
  5. I have only seen the book in the internet (CNA prep guide). But I asked my aunt to purchase me a copy of mosby’s prep guide (the one in color blue and white)I know the book is not really enough. My original plan was to enroll myself in a review class with comprehensive course to refresh my memory with the different concepts in nursing and I do not know when I can start to do that because the agency might just me call and tell me “Congratulations we have your ticket and you have a couple of days to prepare your luggage” whhatttt? Oh my I just can’t easily throw P10, 000! So right now the only thing that I can do is to browse my old notes and wait for any announcement concerning my deployment date till the end of the month.:sofahider
  6. Aside from the prep guide, any particular book that you can recommend for us to understand the psychosocial issues and the real picture of the health care system in Canada? Sorry if I sound naggingly irritating because of my questions concerning CRNE but I just want to acquire good advice which could benefit not only me but also other nurses who are about to take the said exam.:msk:
  7. Four days ago I posted something with so much errors particularly in grammar, I must admit that was kinda shameful and I said sorry for it. After that single distinct event, a lot of topics were brought up in the forum and one of these was how newly hired nurses in CH are behaving and practicing their profession. I understand that everyone has the right to post anything in this forum but I feel guilty, and with that I want to extend my apology to those people connected with mercan and those who are working in CH because if I was more careful and if I didn’t post something with terrible lapses that topic could have been prevented. But we could still change their perception about the new breed of Filipino nurses, right? Let us love and appreciate one another
  8. Advance happy birthday. Don’t loose hope.. Soon everything will be okay and you will find yourself working in Canada. Cheers! :WHCk:
  9. Just want to ask if the questions in the CRNE are nearly similar to the questions in the CGFNS/Nclex. I'm very curious with regards to the structure of the exam because there's a review center here in the Phil which offers CRNE review and and the span of the review is only for 6 days.
  10. I was already expecting to be place in Parkridge together with clueless and essirrach but I received a text message this morning telling me that my jobsite will be at SPH. I’m still waiting for Ma’am A to confirm this matter because the person who texted me is not “really” connected with the agency but somehow I know he’s reliable. Actually, there are a lot of things that I want to clarify regarding my pending job in Saskatoon but unfortunately due to the bad weather which is almost a week now, it’s very hard to get to the city coming from the province. :smackingf My whole experience with this application to Canada taught me two important things. First, always expect the unexpected because things may change from time to time. Second, do not be so fretful in case there are delays in the application or departure date, instead practice being more patient and understanding. Everything will depend on the decision of the employers and the embassy as well.:wshgrt: I was saddened by the news (in case it’s true) but as of now, my real concern is where to get all the materials that I need so I could start reading to help myself prepare for CRNE.:grn:
  11. Just a bit of information The code of ethics for registered nurses (2008 centennial edition ) is already available. Try to visit the website of Canadian Nurses Association
  12. just want to ask on what particular topics that we have to review before taking crne exam because a friend told me that crne exam is more on the psychosocial aspect
  13. sorry I promise to be extra careful next time..
