I totally agree! I know that the NCLEX-RN should be difficult, because you're dealing with people's lives, but I don't think they should make it so difficult that hardly anyone can pass!!! If the process was just a little easier, maybe there wouldn't be such a nursing shortage.
Oh yeah, sorry I forgot to mention the live Kaplan review course that I took when I first graduated in 2006. It did not seem to help me, nor did it seem to help some of my friends.
I graduated with a BSN in May of 2006. Since then I have taken the NCLEX-RN twice and have failed both times. I put at least ten times the effort into passing the second time as the first. However, this did not work. I was an excellent student in school and never failed a class. I was in the top 11 students out of 43! Somehow, that hasn't mattered. I feel so frustrated and sometimes feel like giving up. But I know deep down inside that I want to keep going until I succeed. Does anyone have any suggestions?
