  1. Yes that does make sense, I don't know. I will brush up on my skills and take the test again and see where the ball lands. Thanks for the advice.
  2. I took my Math placement test and my score placed me only at Fundamentals of Algebra which is two Maths below what I need to start my nursing sequence. I do have the option of taking the test again and trying to place higher. But I don't know if I need to just take the beginner course to be fully refreshed or try to place higher and go straight into the intermediate. Any suggestions or shared experiences?
  3. I got more info from you guys. The only thing I got from my financial aid office was a rejection letter and a website for outside lenders. I think I am more leaning toward the student loan so that I can have freedom to choose my employer and not be tied down to that one hospital. So thanks for all the advice and websites I will check into all of the info. I have to hurry though school starts soon. My only other option is the payment plan as well my school does offer that atleast.
  4. I am in the crux of trying to decide on how to pay for school. Financial is out because my completion rate is below 80% never heard of that until now. I dropped some course and took them later and passed, but this does not account for anything. But anyways there is a hospital in my area that pays for school but you have to work for them afterwards and then there is the student loan through a private lender. I am stuck I don't want to put off school any longer. I am not sure about letting the hospital pay because I want the freedom to choose where I work, but part of me says atleast you are somewhat guaranteed a job. I don't know come on guys any suggestions?
  5. Thanks guys the advice both of you gave was golden. I too plan on applying to my local Radiology Tech program . I think I am leaner closer that way, but like you said who knows I may end of changing my mind. I wanted to get all of that out of the way before I actually started my nursing sequence. I still have a little time to pray about and again thanks for the sound advice.
  6. I have been accepted to the ASN program at T.U.M and I am really excited about it I have only 2 more pre-reqs to complete b4 I can enter the core nursing classes. I have one problem I am not sure I want to go into nursing I have my doubts but doesn't everybody? I am also considering Radiology Technician can anyone offer some sound non judgemental advice? Pleeeeez! Thnx:)
