How long in general do you have between assignments? If you extend an assignment is there say a week in between or just continue as if nothing changed?

I transferred from Oklahoma to Colorado. It was a paper application. However, I had my license to begin with in Oklahoma and got my license in Colorado by endorsement. When I had a question I emailed the board. I got a quick reply that way. I had my Colorado license within 2 weeks.

I am thinking of taking contract in Virginia. This will be my first. This is the basic offer. Does it sound reasonable? Thank you. Did you have any money in savings? What did you do to prepare for this?

I have been reading the boards and wonder of the travelers 1) Do you have continuous work? 2) Savings amount? 3) Contracts being cancelled? Yikers! Im giving up full time job. 4) As a general rule are you accepted by the staff? 5) Orientation? 6) Process after recruiter says Im going to submit this. Im being submitted for and 8 week must start ASAP. Im very nervous to be giving up a full time job to start traveling. This has been a dream of mine since before I was nursing. Not doing it for the $big money$.
