I agree with you on that, but I think the reason he gave up is because he didnt want to take the chance of getting ill from the patients. Which I think sucks, especially because that is what he wanted to do. Its hard watching someone cry and go through the stress when they find out they have something like that.

Reason I ask is that about four years ago i knew someone who was hiv pos, and he stopped his dream of nursing because of it. I felt bad for him, havent seem him fof a few years, and dont know how he is now. and two people say people who have hsv-1 and 2 cannot become nurses either is that true? Trying to shed some light on people who have doubts.
