I am pleased to report that I received my license 3 days ago !!! NY board received form 3 from CA, I saw my license number online is less than 24 hours. search .

I hate to be a complainer too, but I did not see another solution. it helped me !! It's mean that CA realized this mistake. I'll let you know when I'll see my license number online. I hope it'll happen soon

The department of customer affairs received my complaint with all documents and messages ,,,, Yesterday I received message from their department: we received your verification and payment for New York today and it will be mailed this afternoon." All my telephone calls, e-mail messages and explanations didn't hep. probably in such cases only the complaints can help.

It's official according to the rules, the explanation is very beautiful and clear, but as everyone knows is not always all done by what is written, not always things work well and beautifully in life as we want. As I said, my husband got only the permission to open the company in USA. It is different from getting managerial or executive position. If you get some position- you are don't worry- you already have a job. Applying to CA was my mistake, but then I didn't know it.I am RN from Israel, The company in Israel that prepared nurses for NCLEX, suggested to do it, because it was the short way to get permission for examination. I waited for this permission only 3 months, from NY board you can get it after 8-10 months. I even didn't know that CA license is not acceptable in NY !!! I wanted to be ready for my new life in USA.I passed NCLEX and I started CVS process from CGFNS 7 months before we arrived to USA. Now I understand how this way is "short and faster" The principle is a mistake, that CA done.There is no one to talk on the phone in Ca board. I feel that the operators are like robots , they don't want to listen to you , I am even not talking about understanding. THANK YOU FOR ALL SUGGESTIONS. I already sent my explanation with all correspondence (email messages..) with CA to CA licens.manager. I want to use the Customer Service Evaluation Form too, I'll do it tomorrow. search

I have SSN, so I have CA license. Thank you for recommendations... Under your Visa L2 your L1 visa holder has a job and should be supporting you so in reality I don't like stating you need the money to live is valid. How do you know what's going on in my personal life and in financial status ???? My husband has L-1 visa. It's mean-he got confirmation to open the business in USA. It is important to note - we are live in USA only 3 months. I think it will take time to start all kind of business and succeed in it. If I don't need a job immediately, I would not ask for help in my situation....

I am asking about temporary number license

I have L-2 visa , SSN and I have employment authorization, my education already approved in NY board of nursing ( CVS process from CGFNS is finished ). I am waiting for form-3 from CA to NY.

Who knows- can I get temporary license in NY, I have California RN license, and my RN NY license is pending, I'll get it about 2-3 months. I already have RN position, but I can't start my work without license. My employer can sign on the nurse form-5 ( from NY board of nursing).Then can I get the temporary license?

Silverdragon,I already contacted ICHP/CGFNS,they explained to me that all documents they receive with my name - they don't need them, maybe they will transfer it to NY, because all my documents are in NY now, maybe not... NY department wants to see this application and then decides if this document is good for my license, but this document addresses to ICHP and NY wants it for NY department. Thank you !!!!

Maybe I didn't explain it correctly, CA board cashed the money for themself for the process which they did to ICHP.My case in CGFNS already closed, because I asked for CVS to NY department, so all my documents are in NY department, they approved my education, they need only form- 3 from CA. Where can I check information about temporary permit? I found information only about limited permits; Limited Permits Note: If you have ever taken the NCLEX-PN examination, you are not eligible for an LPN limited permit. If you have ever taken the NCLEX-RN examination, you are not eligible for an RN limited permit. It is not for me, I already passed the Nclex examination.

Now I know about ICHP, CA claimed that I asked to do this, and endorsement - it is another process, that I need to start from the beginning. They don't want to listen to me , but I urgently need my license , I got some position in Nursing home, I was supposed to start work 2 weeks ago. I afraid I'll lose this position...

60 $ was cashed on 28 of august, but CA transfered this payment to ICHP. I don't know why...

To Silverdragon, "Contact the nursing board in the state in which you intend to apply for licensure and request that they mail you the appropriate application packet.."- I printed this packet:nurse form- 1 was sent to NY, and nurse form- 3 - was sent to CA- "The application packet should contain a Verification of Licensure form. Complete the personal information on the Verification of Licensure form, including your California RN license number". What I did wrong? How can I required this documents from CA urgent without waiting 2-3 months?
