styles for small but busty body types
ok same prob here- 36DD. I just bought some new types of tops- mock wraps are usually more flattering on my body and do not feel like a slob in my scrubs. They are more form fitting in the bust with elastic under the bra line but loose enough in the waist so they are still functional for working. The Cherokee flex-i-bles are stretchy on the sides and come in mock wraps. The Dickies W reformance stretch material is also very flattering and are form fitting in all the right places as well. I also have a few tops from Barco (tie back and mock wrap as well). Also, once you try a brand or style on in a store you can order the kind you like online in different colors and stuff. So no worries and good luck!

getting up early
School and clinicals are starting soon and I also have trouble waking up early because I am a night owl :zzzzz . If I decide I need to go to bed early I can fall asleep but it just turns into a long nap because I will wake up after five hours of sleep. By the time I wake up it's 2/3/4 am and I can not fall back asleep- and then all I am thinking about is how tired I will be all day and how I need to fall back asleep!!! Any suggestions on how to make it through the night without waking up? Thanks :heartbeat scorp

Class of 2010 (starting nursing school in Fall 2008)
So we are all in the same boat here: afraid that our lives will fall apart as we study and go to class, but at the same time super excited to start school! I'm starting in the Fall 08 at La Salle University's day BSN program. I am commuting from New Jersey into Philadelphia for a 45 min drive two days a week for class and god knows where for clinicals three days a week. I still have to get some supplies, books, and my pda-- but it feels like the pressure/stress is mounting already and school is about a month away! I'm nervous I won't have time for myself or to maintain my relationships with my friends, family, and my boyfriend of two years I'm also kind of worried that I will not be able to maintain a high GPA, achieve my goals that I have set for myself, and stay on top of my studying . But it makes me feel better that everyone is thinking the same things I am! So good luck to everyone and if your going to La Salle please let me know! :heartbeat scorp student

lasalle nursing - phila area waiting lists
I know this post is super old but... I'm starting Lasalle's BSN program in a month. I have my stethoscope, ordered my uniforms, and i've been driving myself crazy wondering what Lasalle will be like. Can you give me any sort of advice/inside information/ heads up on the classes, clinicals, teachers, recommended books, and pretty much anything about the program that will help me. Thanks!!! scorp
