  1. Ok, I have been trying to get into LPN school and finally got in, passed my first Quarter with an A average. Get to Med-Surg and bomb. Can some one tell me how to study for Med-Surg? I have to sit out for 5 months and start back where I left off. Any advice, please???
  2. First to answer question 1. Yes, LPN is a good choice, it is the lowest level to start out as as nurse but it is an ecxellent choice. You can always work your way up to RN, BSN, and higher. Next is what do your grades look like? All nursing schools are competitive. the higher your GPA for the classes that are required, the better chance you have to get in. Next, I don't encourage loans for school. So many students get so caught up in accepting loans and before you know it, you are in over your head in paying them back. Try to look for grants or even some facilities that will pay tuition assistance for students. By not having any kids that is a plus. You can really make the nursing field work for you. You can do travel nursing once graduated and have fun. Again, check your grades that will be a huge determining issue. Stunna
