CORNPOOH-- What unit did you get an email for? I've heard that people have been contacted about Cardiology but haven't heard about any other units yet.

Jamie, I actually have class on September 15 until 1:00 so I guess I'll miss you. Which ICU do you work in at ARMC? We are doing clinical there this semester and rotating out to one ICU -- i got neuro. Do you know if they have a preference as to which one you should work in before applying to CRNA school? How many years did you work in the ICU before applying? Thanks for your help!! Alex

Does anyone live in the Athens, GA area and work as a CRNA that would be willing to let me shadow them? I am a senior BSN student at MCG-SONAT and have done clinical rotations at both St. Mary's and Athens Regional so they have all of my immunization paperwork. I am really interested in becoming a CRNA after working in the ICU as an extern this summer; unfortunately, I just don't know any CRNAs. I would be really appreciative!! Thanks!

I am a bsn student who plans to move to the Atlanta area upon graduation in 2009. I was wondering if anyone had advice on which ICU's are the best to work at in Atlanta; I would like to get as much experience as possible in preparation to applying to CRNA school. If you don't know about the Atlanta area, do you know what qualities I should look for when applying to ICUs with CRNA school in mind? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I am a nursing student graduating in 09 with a BSN. I am really interested in working in an Atlanta area ICU (probably wanting to continue to do CRNA). Does anyone have an opinion on the best ICU to work in for graduate nurses to get the most/best experience possible? I am beginning to look just to get some ideas as to where I should apply.
