  1. It is if you can work a flexible schedule. I've had classmates that have done it. Just know every semester becomes more intense and it becomes harder to work and be successful.
  2. Again, it'll show as transfered. When you apply to grad school you will submit all transcripts from every school you've attended. They'll see the original grade.
  3. They show on the new schools as transfer credits with no grade
  4. It's definitely possible to get in with 16. Not sure what you're studying for. Some finals are cumulative. It's a 10 panel urine screen.
  5. If you've taken Micro already then that requirement has been completed. Grades depend on the person. They're people that work that get As.
  6. Hi, grading schedule in terms of what, how often we take exams (every 1.5-3 weeks), what's the grade turn around (grades released within 24 hours)? I didn't work the first year and I'm glad I didn't. There are people who work and have been since he program started. It's definitely doable if you manage your time properly.
  7. Hi, who did you email? Was it a specific person or Nursing Compliance?
  8. So as someone has already said they're giving up their seat, so many do because they're not ready for the commitment or they've applied to other schools and are going with another. So be ready, I'm claiming it! You're going to get the notice that you're off the waitlist.
  9. Also if anyone is waitlisted don't give up. We had people drop out and change their minds on day 1 and 2.
  10. @Akudawoo if you meet the requirements you will more than likely be accepted. The cohort sizes are very large at AACC I think they'reat 160 now. My cohort was 140. See you in the halls! @Nurse dreamer Congrats!!
  11. Decisions probably won't be until the end of the month. For Spring we find out the end of October.
  12. Do you see the financial aid amount on the Financial Aid tab? Is it just not posted, or has the award letter not been sent?
  13. Just an FYI: They post financial aid on certain days. It can be alarming looking at your account, but they will get to it. It happens every semester, whether FAFSA changes or not.
  14. I hate my Bondi SR Hokas and Alto Cloves. My feet are not happy. I went and bought $60 insoles, and let me tell you, my feet were screaming even more. I would say start off with something at $30-$50 and add an insole that you prefer. In the first semester, it's only 8- 8-hour clinical days during 4 weeks that start in April.
  15. The uniforms are ordered from flynnohara.com you can go to their site, put in school info, it will show prices.
  16. No problem I was typing this before you asked the question. I love it when things work out.
  17. FYI: You need a 75% to pass and there is absolutely no rounding so you could fail with 74.99% in the class. I threw my 1st-semester supply list away at the beginning of 2nd so I can't screenshot the supply list, but off the top of my head here you go. Non-LED pen light (soft white light) White shoes impervious to liquids and sharps (completely covers foot, no heel out) kelly clamp bandage scissors BP cuff stethoscope watch with second hand retractable badge holder White, black, or navy-blue socks Long sleeve plain white shirts to go under scrub top when it's chilly. (get from Walmart, Old Navy, or Gap on Black Friday fun fact I paid $.73 for mine GAP clearance sale) I believe for Spring 2025 they are going to new books. For Spring 2024 books were approx. $2k. (for Christmas I got money to help pay for books from friends and family no need for a scarf cashapp me that $25 please and thanks)
  18. This is first semester. Second semester is busier it seems. There are some people that work. They say it's tougher but they do it.
  19. OK, these are screenshots of my personal calendar for 2 consecutive weeks. The week beginning 2/11 we had lectures on Monday, Tuesday an exam for NUR 120 (90 minutes), Wednesday was a lab (uniform required), Thursday was an afternoon lecture and exam review, and Friday was Open lab (Optional). The week beginning 2/18 we had lectures on Monday and Wednesday we had labs (you come in uniform). We had the Midterm exam for NUR 121 on Tuesday (60 minutes). Friday would have been the midterm exam review for NUR 121 (mandatory if you score 74% or less) and optional if you scored higher. Also, later there was an optional open lab (which is skills practice).
