  1. Thanks for the encouragment I really needed that. however I already know that I can conquer algebra. in this life I have found that you can do anything if you want it bad enough. The funny thing is that my husband is an engineer and can do algebra in his head along with calculus and trigg. but he gets too frustrated trying to teach me.lol
  2. Hi my name is Lori and I have been lurking here for a while and I really love this site. I am 35 years old and the mother of 3 girls. I have wanted to be a nurse for a long time but I was just to scared to do it. Well this year I turned 35 and decided it was time to do something for me. (I have been a housewife and mother for the last 12 years) So I enrolled in college. so i can start pre reqs for the rn program. today I took the accuplacer and despite a whole month of constant studying I failed the math test. not a big suprise really. I have always been horrible at math. I did pass everything else. so I guess its not that bad I have been out of school for 20 years. so anyway I guess I will have to take a remedial math course, however I will not let that stand in my way . I will get through the math somehow. I am determined to make my dream a reality
