I live in the Cinci area. I have been an LPN for 6 years and I amwanting to return to school for my RN for awhile now. I have lookedat all the local schoolsand everything looks great until the schools require a higher GPAfrom my LPN then what I have(but they do not look at a total college GPA). Has anyone else ran into this and if sowhat did you or what or you doing to get into a school or raise yourLPN GPA? Can you retake classes that you have scored low in? I know some schools require prerequisites and I am wonderingif those would go toward your LPN GPA to get accepted into the RNnursing program? I passed all of my LPN classes the very first time, graduated and passed my boards on the very first time and now have 6 years of working, my GPA was nowhere near what it could have been because I found out I was pregnant in the middle of the first semiester of nursing school. I want to further my education but seem to be at a stand still....

hello..im an LPN and im looking to get my RN with an online school because i am very busy with a full time job, 5 kids and a husband...i am looking into excelsior college and i have afew questions: 1. does this program have anything to do with the college network? 2. is this program accredited in Ohio? 3. can i buy my materals on ebay to cut donw costs? 4. do you bascially read the books and then take the tests online? 5. do you have to go to New York to do the final 3 day test? 6. i looked at their site and it seems like they have fees for everything..is it really going to cost me a ton if i can transfer some credits in? i dont want to be slapped with crazy bills all the time..and if i can buy some of the books or materials on ebay hopefully that will cut it down.. 7. do you think this program is worth it? i paid $19,000 for my LPN, hopefully it will be less than that, lol. thank you so much for any input on this....i really really really want to enroll!!!

hello all..im currently an lpn and im wanting to start hondros cinci location for my rn...i was just wondering if anyone could give me a headsup about the entrance hesi? i got the study guide but i wasnt sure if all sections were on the hesi and if there was any additional information that i should be looking over? im excited to start, hopefully in july. any info would be great thanks!!

Hello..I'm an lpn and I work at a nursing home...Last week I found out that I am pregnant...I have tried to Google what meds not to touch or be around while pregnant and I have come up empty handed.. I know there are some because on a hall at my work one med says on the box, do not handle while pregnant! Really I'm worried to touch anything..Haha..Any help would be awesome thanks so much
