cheapest, online accelerated BSN or what's the best route for me,HELP
:heartbeathi everyone, i was wondering if anyone knew if an accelerated bsn for nursing is offered online, and least expensive since i am pregnant, baby on way feb.2009. does anyone know if i could work at a hospital without any type of nursing degree where they could possibly pay for my future nursing degree? or will i have to get a cna, lpn, or rn first and then maybe they could reimburse? now im thinking to probably go to rutgers next year for bsn second degree in may not accelerated though. but, i'm wonderin if there would be a better route to take like maybe get a cna now in 6 weeks and work at a hospital with my cna certification then go for an accelerated cna to bsn online or will that take forever and be very costly? or does anyone know whether there is a hospital that will pay to advance your nursing degree? i was also thinking like maybe get an accelerated rn degree and then a hospital pay for rn to bsn don't now which best route to take. ideally i'm trying to find the cheapest most efficent route considering i am a second-degree have credit for 1 semester of nursing at umdnj, have a baby on the way, and am in debt. (i was persuaded to do msn-more intense- got 2 c's for two of the classes, not acceptable at umdnj, so preferred not to reapply-also too expensive. this why want to make the right choice) anyhow i'm just torn between the best route to take i don't want to get more in debt but don't want to be in school forever considering i am 32 and have other degrees and been in school like my whole life. so if anyone has any suggestions or advice it would be extremely helpful, and greatly appreciated! :loveya: miss determined :redbeathe:heartbeat:redbeathe:heartbeat

ACCELERATED BSN or take baby steps like
:heartbeathi everyone, i was wondering if anyone knows if an accelerated bsn for nursing is offered online. i was thinking to reapply at umdnj for the accelerated bsn program which starts in jan.2008 in newark. i was going to reapply to umdnj since i attended the first semester; but because of how expensive, and the fact that i was convinced to do the msn(more intensive) instead of what i initially wanted which was the bsn, i then received a c in 2 of the classes, which is not acceptable to the school as passing so i decided to not reapply. but now i will like to get back into this program or i was thinking rutgers, in may of next year which is cheaper. the problem is, is that i wish i could attend either of these programs but will be giving birth approximately in mid feb or beg.march and will have a newborn to be concerned and care for. and this is why i'm trying to find another route. i am 32 years old and feel the longer i wait the less opportunity i will have. i'm also wondering if anyone knows whether i could work at a hospital while i'm pregnant even though i don't have a nursing degree, where they could possibly pay for my future nursing degree education. lastly, i forgot to mention i did deal with depression in my past but don't want to let this stop me. i just want to plan the best possible course of action for myself. my problem is my boyfriend or mother don't have any faith in me and feel all this education thus far has been just a waste. but i know there is a possible course of action i can take to better my financial situation and nursing can definitely pave the way. :saint:oops, very last import. question i was just wondering if anyone has any ideas of the cheapest route but most efficent route, like maybe get an accelerated rn degree and then a hospital pay for my rn to bsn or will this take forever and be very expensive, any suggestions i appreciate it much! :loveya: miss hopeful:redbeathe:heartbeat:redbeathe:heartbeat

UMDNJ Accelerated BSN Program
I applied and was accepted for the BSN accelerated nursing program back in 2006, and I have to admit that I feel this program is very poorly run. I did half the program and decided to leave that's how bad I felt it was. The programs are very informative and you can learn alot, although, I feel the instructors who are nurses are not well educators, and don't treat their students well. I even had made a deposit to an instructor for a care packet for aprox. $150 I never got the packet or was even refunded the money they are poorly organized and unproffesional. Also their class sizes are pretty big so if you need help with anything it's an enormous struggle. I recommend this school only if you had no other option.
